Pijo and Penda – print for coloring and cutting

Pijo was known as a hard worker and his cheeks were red, while Penda's skin was snow-white. Thus, the two colors – red and white – are present in the martenitsa, as a symbol of new beginnings and the awakening of nature in spring.

The print is perfect for entertaining children, for parent-child play, or for adults to relax.

You will need: colored pencils/crayons/markers, scissors and a March mood! An ideal opportunity to develop fine motor skills and to talk about Martenitsa and folk customs.

Download the resource from the link below and print it out. Color Pijo and Penda and cut out along the outline. Use for home or nursery decoration.
